Compatibility Test
It is advisable to start a fresh bath of Shinex lacquer. However, Shinex lacquers may be compatible to other lacquers available in the market. Please conduct lab test as follows to evaluate with following ratio of lacquers. To test compatibility, coat panels with suggested combinations in three steps.
There is a strong probability that the products are compatible if the clarity and quality of the coating is unaffected. Once satisfied with the test then future gradual additions of lacquer to existing bath solutions can be made with Shinex lacquer.
Compatibility test procedure
Shinex to other Electrophoretic Lacquers
Add shinex lacquers gradually to bath as:
25 parts of bath solution to 75 parts of existing bath solution
50 parts of bath solution to 50 parts of of existing bath solution
75 parts of bath solution to of existing bath solution
