Acetone Resistance Test
This test is done by taking acetone on a piece of cotton or fabric and physically give double rubs to the plated item to see if the film wears off.
SHINEX TC passes > 500 rubs.
SHINEX HB passes > 1000 single rubs
Note: For example Shinex PU HB50, the 1000 rubs are for a product which is coated as 25 micron and cured well. Also it depends on the pressure applied to rubs. These three factors will effect rubs.
