Electrolyte Chrome Passivation before lacquering
For Non Yellowing Clear coating and to Improve corrosion Resistance Electrolyte Chrome Passivation is necessary on Brass and Silver and product can be cured at 160c. Use Shinex Electrolyte Chrome Passivation solution before lacquering.
Shinex Electrolyte Chrome Passivation Solution is diluted as 1 part to 4 parts of de-min water. Products are dipped in solution using electrolytic system before lacquering.
Can be used on Brass. Nickel, Copper, Stainless steel, Zinc die-castings, Aluminium, even directly on steel and even on silver.
This pre stage process Improves Corrosion resistance and Reduces yellowing of brass.
Prior to lacquering as a process of metal finishing, Chromated passivation is necessary to achive higher Salt Spray Corrosion/Perspiration Test/ Salt Test.
chromated brass gives:
SHINEX LB in excess of 240 hours
SHINEX HB in excess of 480 hours.
